Terms of Service
Effective date: July 29, 2026
Last updated: July 29, 2026
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to getwasal.com and any evaluation, demo, or contractual use of the Wasal platform. By using our website or submitting a request through it, you agree to these Terms.
1. About Wasal
Wasal provides a software platform that enables schools, universities, transport operators, and partners to run student transport operations under their own brand, including live tracking, supervisor tools, parent applications, billing, and related administrative features.
2. Eligibility
Our website and business services are intended for organisations and authorised representatives acting in a professional capacity. You must provide accurate information in forms and communications and have authority to bind your organisation where applicable.
3. Website use
You agree not to:
- Use the website in violation of applicable law or third-party rights.
- Attempt unauthorised access, probe vulnerabilities, or disrupt the site or related systems.
- Submit false, misleading, or spam inquiries.
- Copy, scrape, or reverse engineer site content or software except as permitted by law.
4. Demos, quotations, and sales
Demo and quotation submissions do not create a binding contract until a separate written agreement is signed or otherwise accepted by both parties. Features, pricing, timelines, and service levels are defined in customer contracts or order forms, not solely by marketing materials on this site.
5. Platform access and customer responsibilities
Customers receiving platform access must maintain the confidentiality of credentials, configure appropriate roles and permissions, and ensure lawful collection and use of student, parent, driver, and staff data within their tenant.
Customers are responsible for their own privacy notices, consents, transport policies, and compliance with education, transport, and data-protection laws applicable to their operations.
6. White-label and branding
Wasal may provide configurable branding, domains, and application builds under a customer’s identity. Customers must ensure they have rights to logos, names, and content they upload. Wasal may display anonymised references to customers only with permission or where already public.
7. Intellectual property
Wasal and its licensors retain all rights in the platform, documentation, website content, trademarks, and underlying technology. Subject to a customer agreement, customers receive a limited licence to use the platform for internal business purposes. Feedback may be used by Wasal to improve services without obligation.
8. Service availability and changes
We aim for high availability during operational hours but do not guarantee uninterrupted access to the website or platform. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features with reasonable notice where practicable, especially for contracted customers as set out in their agreement.
9. Disclaimers
The website and any pre-contract demos are provided “as is” and “as available” to the extent permitted by law. Wasal does not warrant that the website will be error-free or that transport outcomes meet regulatory requirements without proper customer configuration and operation.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Wasal will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, data, or goodwill arising from use of the website or platform. Wasal’s aggregate liability relating to the website prior to a signed customer agreement is limited to one hundred US dollars (USD 100) unless mandatory law requires otherwise.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability for fraud, wilful misconduct, or other liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Wasal from claims arising out of your misuse of the website, violation of these Terms, or infringement of third-party rights, except to the extent caused by Wasal’s breach or negligence.
12. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or refuse website access or inquiries where we reasonably believe abuse, fraud, or legal risk exists. Platform access termination is governed by the relevant customer agreement.
13. Governing law
These website Terms are governed by the laws applicable to Wasal’s corporate entity. Contracted platform services are governed by your customer agreement with Wasal, which may specify governing law, venue, and local compliance requirements for your market.
14. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the website after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms where permitted by law.
